Design Consultation

At Vitablend we really strive to minimise this development time and get the product right first time. In order to do this we will ask many questions during the consultation process. The questions we will ask and the facts we need to establish will typically include:

  1. Establishing the nutritional claim to be made.
  2. Details of the finished product, what process it undergoes, how it will be packed and what shelf life is expected.
  3. What other ingredients are present in the finished product so that we may account for interactions or stability issues. In addition there may be significant amounts of nutrients natively present that will influence our recipe.
  4. What your batch or production run sizes are – we can then suggest convenient addition rates or even optimized custom pack sizes to minimise dispensing operations at your facility – for example we can offer dry premixes in a variety of sachet sizes and liquid blends in packaging allowing “one pack per batch” operations.
  5. Are there any special dietary requirements that must be met e.g. suitability for Kosher or Halal diets.
  6. Discussion on how we will certify the nutritional premix, full analysis of macro and micro components to defined homogeneity limits is possible using our own in house laboratory. A variety of microbiological assays are also available.

Using this information we can utilise our custom designed premix formulation software to rapidly make a proposal.

We are very happy to consider your requests.
