Vitablend was founded by six entrepreneurs, and this spirit is still an important part of the Vitablend DNA. We closely work together, trust each other’s skills, strive for quality, and are constantly looking for new opportunities, based on scientific achievements as well as emerging market trends. Vitablend is a small organization, where people know each other, and each team member’s contribution is highly valued.

Vice President Operations

Having over 25 years in the food industry, expertise in operations, and a background in business and finance, Don brings broad and diverse experience. With a demonstrated history of successful business development and knowledge gained starting and managing a US based ingredient manufacturing business, he has unique insights into what is needed to grow a successful global supplier. Don is based in the US and manages the production entities.

Vice President Sales

Marc has a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, MSc in Biology, and Executive MBA in Management.

For the last 20 years, he has worked in executive roles in Europe and Asia Pacific in food ingredients distribution and business development of customized ingredient solutions for Functional Foods and Specialized Nutrition.

Jonathan Romano

Jonathan Romano

Business Unit Director Fortification

Jonathan joined Vitablend in 2012 as a regional sales manager with experience in biotechnology and the flavor industry. Holding a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and one in business, he feels very comfortable in developing complex customized technical solutions in a global business environment. Strong from major commercial successes, involving key CAPEX investments for Vitablend and settling long-term customer agreements, he drives the Global Business Unit Nutrition.

Business Unit Director Protection

Yohann joined Vitablend in 2012. He holds a master’s degree in Food Engineering and built up his carrier in international sales and business development. Since he joined the Vitablend Protection Division, he has had different regional and global Sales roles. Since 2018 he has been managing the Vitablend US antioxidant factory and the business development in the Americas. He is now in charge of the global antioxidant business unit.Â
